The Environmental Focus: Dowdell offers an integrated Environmental Studies magnet theme.   Our motto, “Dowdell, where we do things naturally”, incorporates a philosophy that we consider the natural environment in all that we do. Every student in this magnet program is enrolled in a focused Environmental Studies course. The main focus is on what students can do now to make a positive impact and protect the world around them.
